“We chose the Geothermal Bread Baking Experience while on our Golden Circle tour. We drove the Golden Circle in our rental car so wanted to take is as many of the sights and experiences we possibly could. Laugarvatn Fontana sits between Thingvellir National Park and Geysir so was a perfect location for our boys to experience something different. The tour itself is pretty short but the guide does a great job explaining the process of making and cooking the bread. It was great to sample the freshly cooked bread and smoked trout back inside. Certainly worth a visit!”

“This is a stunning hot springs. We stayed 4hrs and it went by quickly. Each hot springs is beautiful and so relaxing. The view is breathtaking we couldn’t get over how wonderful it was. Staff very friendly and helpful. Design inside with the cafe and changing rooms is lovely. Clean and comfortable. I would say this is better then the blue lagoon and we have been there a number of times. A must visit 100%”

“The pools overlook a beautiful lake with hills in the distance. It is a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours after a day of hiking or driving. There a few pools of varying temperatures and a sauna. For those wanting to cool off, a jump into the lake does the trick. While not our favorite spa (that goes to the Forest Lagoon in Akuyeri), the Vök Baths were very nice. The only negative was how slippery the main pool was. That will, of course, be corrected when they clean it again.”
